Annual Ticaboo Fall Rally

Join us in Ticaboo, Utah, for our 3rd Annual Fall Rally in Bullfrog Valley! November 5 & 6, 2021 Registration $30, and you can register now by clicking "this link" Book your rooms or RV spaces fast as this will be a sellout - www.ticaboo.com The registration fee will include daily guided rides, a neck gaiter with the Ticaboo trail system printed on it, and a small donation to the Prehistoric Museum in Price, Utah.  Dr. Josh Lively, Curator, and Paleontologist for the Prehistoric Museum in Price, Utah, will be on the guided rides both days as we take you through our very own Jurassic Park. Dr. Lively will give interpretive discussions about the area’s geology and dinosaur history, and answer any questions you may have. We'll do a little fossil hunting, and show you all the awesome reasons why you should come back and explore! You can join on the guided rides, or you can break off and explore the hundreds of miles of trails in our Henry Mountain/Robbers Roost trail system on your own.  We'll have live music Friday and Saturday night, and meal tickets are available for sale on the registration site. EVENT SCHEDULE:  Thursday, November 4th, 2021 - arrival and check-in throughout the day 5:00 pm - spaghetti dinner (pre-purchase meal tickets on the registration site) Friday, November 5th, 2021 - guided rides begin at 9 am and launch every 15 minutes 7:00 am - grab pre-purchased breakfast and pre-purchased box lunches 5:00 pm - BBQ dinner (pre-purchase meal tickets on the registration site) Saturday, November 6th, 2021 - guided rides begin at 9 am and launch every 15 minutes 7:00 am - grab pre-purchased breakfast and pre-purchased box lunches 5:00 pm - Hamburger/hot dog dinner (pre-purchase meal tickets on the registration site) **At Your Leisure will be on hand during the rally to film a show, so we are having a CONTEST!! ATV/UTV Rally

2020 Ride Description Trip #1Taste of Ticaboo, 9:00 AM Intermediate Trail Riding open to all ATVS/UTVS - street legal only (75 miles)This ride is on the BLM Henry Mountains range. Visitors will begin at Ticaboo Lodge and enter a canyon to the old mines, drop into Shitamarang Canyon, and exit by way of climbing out of the mine area into our “Jurassic” playing ground. We’ll then traverse the mesa top to the Badlands before making our way toward the Burr Trail. Crossing the Burr Trail, we’ll continue through more Morrison Formation back toward Ticaboo.Trailhead: The trailhead is right behind Base Camp, next to the Ticaboo Lodge, so no need to trailer the machines.The Trail: This long route is primarily on county B roads, well graded, and some maintained gravel roads. The Burr Trail is paved. Trip #2The Mount Hillers Loop, 9:00 AM Intermediate Trail Riding open to all ATVS/UTVS - street legal only (90 miles)This ride is on the BLM Henry Mountains range. Visitors will begin at Ticaboo Lodge and enter a canyon to the old mines, drop into Shitamarang Canyon, and exit by way of climbing out of the mine area into our “Jurassic” playing ground. We’ll then traverse the mesa top to the Badlands. Whereas the “Taste of Ticaboo” leaves south from here, the “Mount Hillers Loop” will turn north toward the Henry Mountains. We’ll tour the old Starr Springs ranch, where we’ll have lunch, then loop around Mount Hillers to the east, enjoying the beautiful red rock views from Gold Creek and The Ghost Ridge, circling around the north end of Mount Hillers, then as we continue on the west side between Mount Hillers and Mount Pennel, we’ll come across Quaking Aspens, Stanton Pass, then back to the Badlands as we follow our earlier trail back to Ticaboo.Trailhead: The trailhead is right behind Base Camp, next to the Ticaboo Lodge, so no need to trailer the machines.The Trail: This long route is on county B roads, well graded, and some maintained gravel roads. A small section of Hwy 276 needs to be driven due to a blockage on the northern trail. RV & Trailer Parking A temporary permit has been secured for parking toy haulers in the lodge parking lot Wednesday, November 4, thru Saturday night, November 7.Those who wish to stay in their trailers these nights will be charged a rateof $25 per night. Overnight parking excludes the use of lodge facilities and services reserved exclusively for lodge guests. Generators are not permitted to operate after 9 pm. No campfires except in grills or outdoor fire pits. Cancellation Policy: Registrations cancelled after October 29, 2020 are assessed a $5.00 cancellation fee. Meals are fully refunded if cancelled by October 29, 2020. After October 29, 2020 registration fees and meals are non-refundable.
